Check us out. Eventually we will have an iPhone app as well for those who want it all in one place (but that’s gonna be a wait for that release, we just wanna give y’all a heads up). November 2018 going to a very interesting month!
Ok so I’m falling into the hype. Let’s be honest; this sneaker don’t look that great does it? But it’s good enough to be wearable. When you add the history and culture behind it then these sneakers turn into extra ordinary kicks.
They haven’t released. According to the sneaker webs the sneaker will be released in 2016. Of course Micheal J Foc got his pair today. And yes it laces by themselves WITH the sound effects.
More posts coming soon in Novermber for Sneakers and Shoes.
Yes I know…. These sneakers came out a while ago. So what’s the point of having a photoshoot for a pair of sneakers that they hype is gone? Exactly! They hype is gone. This photoshoot (and others coming soon) is just about the love of the design and history of the sneaker.
I like sneakers (in fact all footwear) mainly because it’s a mix of form and function; design, art and science. In other words these things have to work not just look good but if they don’t look good do they really work?
The Air Jordan 7 Bordeaux along with another sneaker gets the photoshoot treatment for the re-start next month.
After multiple restarts and stops the blog and magazine will restart officially by the end of the month. The most opinionated foot loving random post having innovative blog site is back.
So here we are. Its been weeks since I last posted anything related to footwear and I sure missed allot.
Got a little sick there but I am recovering nicely and getting back to the game. Its gonna be slow going at first but eventually I will be posting again at leasr 3-4 times a day. Plus, I already strted working on a bigger/better home site for this blog (that is taking WAY longer than I though but its all good).
I love writing about this stuff. I really do. I also love cheering (or jeering) footwear designs and such. I appreciate all the well wishers and readers sticking around to see what else I have in store for them.
Posts start up in earnest tomorrow so make sure you come back tomorrow to see what on sale around the net, news stories and commentary on design styles and the culture.
I can’t wait to begin anew! See ya tomorrow!!!!
When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade… and then make it so well that other people want it too. SneakersAndShoes.com main site coming soon (why? because there is just too much stuff to cover just to keep it all here lol)
(think I may give these away… anybody wear a size 12?)
And speaking of stuff that I didn’t totally wear… I am having a sort of re-opening of my site. The fireworks begin somewhere around Wednesday night, but most of you probably won’t see it all until Thursday. I am looking forward to it.
EDIT: Hall of Fame Pack is to release September 5 2009 (and one comment on Kicks on Fire that is currently unverified, states that the Hall of Fame pack has been renamed to Moments… again, this is unverified)
It would seem that there is a slight problem with the Hall Of Fame Pack. Some company that I never heard of (Sports Fuzion Inc) is seeking remedy against Nike because of junk and junk related to some stuff and stuff. I swear I don’t understand the connection between a Hall Of Fame Pack and a company with the word Fuzion in it…
Ok, seriously, Nike deals with sports, Sport fusion deals with… I guess sports, and both are dealing with Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. That is apparently the connection… because somehow you the buyer are going to get very confused that Nike, a sneaker/shoe company, also is somehow related to Sports Fuzion and whatever they do (I refuse to look it up).
But here is the REAL meat of the lawsuit… (more…)
(but will this merger WORK???)
Think long term (5 year and 10 year time frames), put costomers first, obsess over customers, invention… investing your way out of a box… inventing for customers…. ok, I have heard enough. It is an interesting video that I think ANYONE who is into footwear (whether its sneaker or shoes) should be into this news. I do not know if this will be the right move for Zappos of Amazon (although I will admit that Amazon’s footwear selections are lame as hell), but if Amazon is right (and they sure think they are) we won’t know until 7 years from now because they are thinking “long term”.
The biggest thing I am interested in is what will happen to Zappos and its culture?
(I am just not to sure about this one)
These are cute, but a baby in soft flexible high heels? I am not too sure about this one. I guess there will be times when its just the cutest thing you ever seen… while other ties its like dude, let the baby be a baby for crying out loud.
Nevertheless, the company is creating real buzz over the highly totally unfunctinal high heel baby booty. They hit the news curcuit like Nike got hit with a lawsuit (I’m sorry I just had to throw that in there)? The Today Show, MSNBC, CBS News… the list is quite impressive. and the shoes are pretty ok, so I guess I can’t complain too much.
So is it a good idea? Does it sort of sexualize the baby or does it just make the baby look darling and so cute?
